Jang Geun Suk and Yoona meet for Love Rides the Rain

When heard that Jang Geun Suk and SNSD’ Yoona will pair for new drama Love Rain / Love Rides the Rain, we imagine a cute and fun drama.
But when we knew the scriptwriter Oh Soo Yun will write the script forLove Rain, we immediately switched to a melodrama because writer Oh Soo Yun is the writer who wrote heavy mellow tearjerker Autumn Tale (2000), Winter Sonata (2002) and the boring 2005 Wedding.

The director will be PD Yoon Suk Ho who helmet the season drama series Autumn Tale, Winter Sonata, Spring Waltz and Summer Scent.

Love Rain itself will tell story of a lover who lived during 70s : art scholar Seo In Ha (played by Jang Geun Suk) and innocent college girl Kim Yoon Hee (played by Yoona). The love story continues with their second generation, Seo Jun (Seo In Ha’s son) and Yoo Ri (Kim Yoon Hee’s daughter) in the year 0f 2012. The second generation also played by Jang Geun Suk and Yoona.

It still early to tell how Love Rain looks like but the production seems on fire with the first script reading already held for early next year premiere.
